“I am converting a laundry room into a half bath so I need an estimate on roughing in a toilet drain to the sewer line, bringing in a supply line to the toilet, bringing in hot & cold supply lines with cutoffs to the sink and tying in sink drain pipe. Also adding one GFI electrical socket and a electrical box for a light fixture. I will supply and install the toilet, toilet bowl seal, sink, light fixture, supply lines from the pipes to the fixtures and plumbing from the pipe to the sink.”
“Thank you for your inquiry. We can surely help you with this endeavor. On projects like this, it is difficult to give a ballpark price over the web. We offer free estimates. We would have to come out and visit the home. Take measurements from the location of your new bathroom. To the nearest 4″ sanitary sewer for new drains. Evaluate distance, if there are any tree roots to contend with. Determine what kind of material your existing sewer line is made of, PVC, concrete, ect. Find the closest hot and cold water lines. We would want a minimum of 3/4″. Check out what kind of material we would be tying into, copper, galvanized, ect. The distance in the attic we would have to run hot and cold. Unfortunately, we will not be able to help with the electrical circuit. We are not licensed by the state for electrical. Licensed for plumbing only. We can come out at no cost to you and give you a firm bid for a project like this.”
